Tata Motors, one of India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturers, launched its new advanced LCV Ultra T.7 for urban transportation. This is an addition made to its LCV segment taking into account the high popularity of the Ultra cabin, and has been modified to be sleeker and agile. The best-in-class cabin comes at 1900mm and has been curated to reduce the turnaround time, as per the company’s release.
According to the company, the Ultra T.7 comes in 4 and 6 tyre combinations to facilitate a wide variety of applications. It comes fitted with an 4SPCR engine, and churns out a maximum power of 100hp and a peak torque of 300 Nm at 1200-2200 rpm.
The Ultra T.7 also promises a standard music system, a USB charging port and a spacious storage space. Along with that, the truck is slated to have the Fleet Edge, the next-generation connected vehicle solution. It is ideally suited for urban transportation activities, such as transportation of FMCG products, e-commerce goods, industrial goods, consumer durables, LPG cylinders, essential items, and electronics.
