Tata Motors extends warranty period for commercial vehicles

Tata Motors has recently announced its decision to extend the warranty period for all its commercial vehicle customers in India, as well as globally, due to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

The company has offered an extension of two months for free services in India, for the ones that were to be scheduled during the lockdown period. Along with that, Tata Motors is also offering an extension on the warranties by two months that were expiring during the lockdown period for commercial vehicles.

The homegrown automaker also says that it is extending the Tata Suraksha AMC for all those with an expiry during the period of national lockdown. Apart from that, it is offering one-month validity extension of all active contracts in Tata Motors Suraksha scheme, claimed the company.

The company is also going to provide an extension to its customers based in South Africa, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, the Middle East, along with North-west African and Latin American countries. The extension will come into effect for warranties that are expiring post March 15.

For its clientele in Bangladesh, Tata Motors has announced an extension on warranty for customers that have their vehicle warranty expiring after March 20. A two month extension in warranty for vehicles with expiring warranties after April 1 has been announced for customers situated in Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia.
