To help aid in the fight against COVID-19, Tata Motors has stepped up by delivering 51 Winger ambulances to the district council (zila parishad) of Pune on Saturday. With cases surging in Maharashtra, the ambulances will help in transportation of patients safely and have a separate driving compartment with a partition that is separate from the other parts of the cabin.

The ambulances have been delivered to the zila parishand keeping in mind the security of the drivers who transport COVID-19 affected patients, along with ensuring that adequate transportation units are made available. The Winger comes with a high fuel efficiency and a monocoque chassis, making it a great option for parsing through narrow and steep lanes.
