Scania, one of the leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, has showcased a new generation truck in its arsenal, the NTG Heavy Tipper at the EXCON 2019. According to the company’s release, the truck comes with BS-IV CEV-ready engines.
The company has come up not only with the truck, but also with allied solutions on the offer. The company claims that its vision incorporates enhanced customer profitability.
Petr Novotny, Managing Director, Scania Commercial Vehicles India Pvt Ltd, said in a statement, “2019 has been a very important year for us with the launch of NTG and the opening of our central warehouse in Nagpur. Both these moves are in cognizance with our commitment to the Indian market.”.
He further added, “The response to NTG has been overwhelming and we are happy to provide our customers with a product that is contributing to their profitability. Our BS-IV CEV ready engine is a result of timeless engineering and is known for best in class fuel efficiency and reliability.

The company remarked that it is on track and ready to go to be in compliance with the BS-VI emission norms, due to come into effect from April 2020.
