Apollo Tyres Ltd. has launched a new range of tyres in the Truck and Bus Radial space. The new Endu Race RAT is an all-wheel fitment tyre for heavy commercial vehicles. The company has taken this decision to benefit from the recovery of the commercial vehicle market in India post-pandemic.
The company has recently launched a Bhim range of tyres for small commercial vehicles. The launch of the new Endu Race RAT will now serve the interest of Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle Segment.
The company has said that the demand for all-wheel fitment tyres in the Indian market is continuously increasing. With all the other TBR tyres, the risk of wear and tear is huge. The company has taken the input of the customers to understand their problem with TBR tyres. The new Apollo EnduRace RAT will cover all the expectations of the customers and offer them the best tyre product.
The demand for Truck and Bus Radial Tyres in the Indian market is 80,000 units every month. With the launch of this product, the company is aiming to get a major hold of this market. The production of these tyres has taken place in the company facility located in Chennai. The company claims that these tyres have gone through in-house tests as well as have been tested in real situations.
Regarding this launch, Satish Sharma, President, APMEA Region, Apollo Tyres, said, With the changing industry dynamics and customer expectations from the all-wheel segment, we have further improved our offering with EnduRace RAT. We are confident of extending our lead in the TBR segment in India with this new benchmark in performance tyres.”
It is claimed that these new tyres will offer an even wear pattern throughout the life of a tyre. This way, the tyres will be resistant to easy damages. Hence, the consumers will not have to worry about replacing their tyres any time soon after they purchase these tyres. The other advantage of this tyre is that it increases the fuel efficiency of the vehicles. The company claims that these tyres will improve fuel efficiency by 10% with lower pressure and resistance on wheels. The launch of these tyres will further help Apollo to expand its presence in the Indian market.
