Maruti Suzuki India announced the launch of its BS-VI compliant Super Carry S-CNG. The mini truck comes with a price range starting from Rs. 5.07 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi).

This is the 6th vehicle from the automaker’s BS-VI S-CNG series. The truck comes with a 4-cylinder, S-CNG, dual fuel engine, that is capable of doling out a maximum power of 65 bhp, and a peak torque of 85 Nm. The fuel tank capacity of the mini truck has been recorded as 5 litres. Super Carry S-CNG BS-VI will contain a large loading deck, a lockable glove box and reverse parking sensors.
As per Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director – Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India, “With over 56,000 units sold through the 320+ strong Maruti Suzuki Commercial Channel network, Super Carry has been consistently outperforming the mini-truck segment.”
He further added, “The bi-fuel S-CNG variant has been accepted very well in the small commercial vehicle market and already contributes around 8 per cent to the Super Carry sales. The introduction of the competitively priced BS6-compliant S-CNG variant coupled with the government’s renewed focus on CNG fuel availability will further strengthen the Super Carry brand.”
Similar to the other variants of the S-CNG range, the Maruti Suzuki Super Carry S-CNG is fitted with dual interdependent electronic control units (ECUs), along with an intelligent injection system. These vehicles are factory fitted, and are specially tuned and calibrated to deliver optimum performance and enhanced drivability across all kinds of terrains.
