India’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India in a regulatory filing on Thursday said that it has increased in the price of its light commercial vehicle Super Carry by Rs. 11,000. “The prices of Super Carry BS-VI compliant variants have been revised,” the company said in its regulatory filing.

According to the company, the price for the Super Carry mini truck has been increased from Rs. 4.25 lakh to Rs. 5.18 lakh, ex-showroom price in Delhi-NCR, with effect from Thursday.
The company witnessed an increase of 4% in the sales figures for Super Carry in September this year, with 2,128 units sold. This increase comes in comparison to 2,046 units that were sold in the same month in 2019.
