Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited, part of the Mahindra and Mahindra group, launched its new electric three-wheeler cargo variant Treo Zor on Thursday, starting at Rs. 2.73 Lakh (ex-showroom price Delhi). The model is expected to be available in select cities in India from December 2020 across Mahindra small commercial vehicle dealerships.
The Treo Zor, coming off the Treo platform, will offer a driving range of 125 km and will be available in 3 different variants – Pickup, Delivery Van and Flat Bed. The maximum power doled out by the engine is 8kW, and a peak torque of 42 Nm. The model has a payload capacity of 550 kg. Along with that, the Zor will come fitted with a telematics unit coupled with a GPS, provision for spare wheel and a windscreen and wiping system. Additionally, the model will have FNR (Forward, Neutral, Reverse) driving modes, economy and boost mode, lockable glove box, 12 V Socket, 15-amp off-board charger, hazard indicator and reverse buzzer.
As per the company, the battery life of the Zor will exceed 1.50 lakh km. Moreover, the company is also offering a warranty of 3 years/80,000 km.
