Ashok Leyland on Monday reported a rise in its sales by 20% for the month of February 2021 with 12,776 units. This increase in sales comes in contrast to the 10,612 units that the company was able to sell in February last year.
As per the company’s regulatory filing, Ashok Leyland sold 7,114 units of medium and heavy commercial vehicles in the domestic market, recording a 5% increase in sales, as opposed to 6,745 units that were sold during the same month in 2020. In the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segment, the company recorded a sale of 5,662 units in February 2021, reporting a rise of 46% in sales in comparison to 3,867 units sold in February 2020.
Ashok Leyland was happy to announce an overall increase in sales by 19%, with a total of 13,703 units sold in the month of February.
