Ashok Leyland launches new upgraded ecomet STAR

Ashok Leyland has launched a new truck ecomet STAR. The launch of this news truck gas has been made in the Intermediate Commercial Vehicle segment. With this launch, the company has tried to upgrade some of the additional features of the truck. This truck will cater to the need of 11T – 16T GVW
ICV segment. The truck is hence an upgraded version of the ecomet range of trucks of the company.

The talking point about this new truck is that it comes in a very stylish look. Further, the truck provides higher fluid efficiency.The tyre life of this truck is also better than the others. The other advantage of this truck is that it requires low maintenance cost, and the service intervals are of a longer period than other trucks. One of the most important benefits of this truck is that it comes with enhanced Turnaround Time (TAT).

The use of this truck can be made for supporting various different roles. These can be used for e-commerce, courier and parcel, FMCG, agri-perishable goods and others. The president of the MHCV segment, Ashok Leyland, Sanjay Sarwat, said, “We have launched the ecomet BSVI in the ICV segment last year with i-GEN6 technology and this has been very well received by our customers. The ICV segment is seeing a spurt in demand due to the opening of economy. To meet the evolving customer needs, we continue to expand our product portfolio.”
