Ashok Leyland launched new models, the Boss LX and LE, under its Boss range in the Intermediate Commercial Vehicle (ICV) segment. The launch is aimed at strengthening the company’s position in the 11.1 tonne to 14.05 tonne GVW market. The price for these models starts at Rs. 18 Lakh, which is the ex-showroom price in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.

The two models come with two cabin options, and are BS-VI compliant. According to the company, customers can expect to have up to 7% higher fuel efficiency, up to 5% better tyre life, up to 5% lower maintenance expenses and up to 30% longer service intervals. The trucks can be used in a wide variety of segments, including logistics, poultry, white goods and e-commerce.
