Ashok Leyland on Thursday announced the launch of its new range of trucks, AVTR. This selection of modular trucks comes with the new i-Gen6 BS-VI technology and modular architecture.

As per the company, the new AVTR range of trucks come with the offering of different axle configurations, loading spans, cabins, suspensions and drive trains. These options are available on a single platform for the range, comprising of trucks, tractors and tipper trucks falling in the 18.5T to 55T category.
Talking about the new launch, Dheeraj Hinduja, Chairman, Ashok Leyland, said, “Ashok Leyland has always been ahead of the curve and leads the CV industry in terms of innovation. Our endeavour has always been to address the needs of our customers and deliver better profitability for them.”

Users can now customise their CVs according to their needs and requirements through the AVTR platform. As per Ashok Leyland, this will pave the way to improving operational economics and customer satisfaction. Moreover, the company claims that this range will yield faster turnaround for the automaker, plus an enhanced market coverage.
